The only thing that has worked!

My house is surrounded by trees...pines, oaks, maples. My gutters and downspouts clogged continually. I purchased gutter guards that fit atop the gutters, but the rain just slid across them and waterfalls down the other side. I purchased gutter brush a few years ago and I don't have to worry now. Everything flows smoothly. Yes, every now and then they need to be taken out and shaken to clean them, but it's been 3 years and they are still doing the job without me touching them. It is a long lasting 2.25" actual diameter brush gutter guard. Fill the gutter or channel from end to end with 3 foot lengths of the GutterBrush 2.25" diameter channel flow guard to decrease gutter work and keep the channel or gutter from clogging.

Is the CFG-2.25IN made the same as other GutterBrush sizes, only smaller?

Yes, it is the same as other GutterBrush except for the fact that it has a smaller actual diameter of 2.25 inches. It is named differently from other GutterBrush simply because most gutters are larger and we feel that calling it a channel instead of a gutter is a helpful charachterization.

Does the Channel Flow Guard 2.25 Inch stop gutter or channel clogging?

Yes, just fill the entire channel or gutter with 3 foot lengths, and leave it in place for year round clog protection.

How does it stop clogging

Individual pieces of gutter leaves and debris are kept separated so they can not clump together to make a larger blockage and they cant clump together and flow to make a downspout plug. In dividial pieces of debris alone were never able to cause a clog. GutterBrush keeps them separated so the water flows between and through. it can not clog. No more clumping, flowing and clogging and no morfe blockages. Gutterbrush has proven this for over 21 years. If debris can't move, then it can't clog.

Might they fill up?

All gutter guards in a debris area will eventually need maintenance. GutterBrush does a great job at keeping things flowing and decreasing gutter work but a small channel could need maintenance.
