Hi, my name's Alex with GutterBrush. Metal buildings, also referred to as steel buildings, are designed with a unique gutter system that has some very different physical characteristics. Because metal building gutters are different in shape and attachment, the typical gutter screens, gutter covers and typical gutter protection devices do not fit and will not work on metal building gutters. This causes a challenge for metal building owners because like other buildings, they may be placed close to a tree line so they may have difficulty keeping the gutters from clogging and like other building owners, metal building owners also need to decrease building damage that can occur from overflowing gutters such as landscape erosion, compromised foundations, general damage, rust and rotted cap flashings, while simultaneously keeping the in-ground storm drainage from clogging. Owners property managers and contractors are turning to Gutterbrush to provide a simple inexpensive gutter clog protection system for metal buildings, that's fast and easy to install and maintain. Metal or steel buildings are a " one design fits all " prefabricated building system. They designed these building systems to have a very high front edge of the gutter. This high front edge is more aesthetically pleasing. The front edge of the gutter is so high, it hides the visual appearance of the ribbed roof and then also miters or connects evenly with the rake trim for a very smooth and neat appearance. For added gutter strength, the outer front edge of the gutter is strapped or connected to the upper ridge of the roof. The result is a very strong gutter that looks great from the ground but poses many gutter cleaning and gutter guard challenges. Due to the fact that the front outer edge of the gutter is designed and intended to be so high, and even higher than the drip edge; and the fact that the front edge is strapped directly to the upper ribs of the roof, retrofitting these gutters with a typical gutter screen or gutter cover is nearly impossible. Every gutter hanger is in the way, and the roof drip edge is way down lower than the outer edge of the gutter, so metal building owners are extremely limited in what is available to keep their gutters flowing; not to mention the important task of keeping the in ground storm drains from clogging, As an additional obstacle, often the roof drip edge is extended further than it needs to be, making it practically impossible to fit your hand in there to clean the gutter. The GutterBrush rain gutter clog protection system comes in five different sizes, keeps gutters flowing, and works great. It's very fast and easy to install in metal buildings. Get a sample box that contains three different sizes in one box, to help you choose the right size. Then, once you've chosen the right size, fill the entire gutter from end to end with three foot lengths of Gutterbrush by sliding them under the gutter brackets. Fill the entire gutter from end to end and leave GutterBrush in place year round to keep gutters from clogging and protect downspouts and storm drains too. The long-lasting brush fills the gutter and keeps the debris from clogging while the water flows between the bristles. The flexible bristles even allow you to fit Gutterbrush into very small or tight gutter openings. The beauty of the GutterBrush is the speed and ease of fitting and installing with no fasteners, so that at some point when maintenance is necessary, it's a snap. You just pull them out, shake the debris out, clean the gutters, and reinstall Gutterbrush completely renewed. In short, steel building manufacturers, contractors, owners, and property managers love GutterBrush because it provides clog protection that they need while being fast and easy to install, manage and maintain on gutters that typically have very few available options.
